Witnesses sought for break-in investigation

Port Lincoln police are seeking information from the public to assist in the investigation into a break-in at Port Lincoln on Friday morning.

Police say at about 8.50am on December 3 the occupant of a residence on Oxford Terrace woke up to find an unknown man inside the house, who had entered through an unlocked rear door.

The man left through the rear of the property without stealing anything.

He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged in his mid 30s with a round face and was wearing a hi-vis shirt and work pants.

Police encourage anyone with information on the break-in or saw anyone fitting this description in the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
