Police are seeking assistance from the public as they investigate a deliberately lit bushfire near Ceduna.
Just before 5pm on Tuesday, January 11, police attended the fire which was burning in scrub land on Flinders Highway at Merghiny, about 20 kilometres south west of Ceduna.
Approximately 15 square metres of scrub land had been burnt when the fire was extinguished by attending CFS crews.
Police are requesting dash-cam footage from motorists who may have been travelling along Flinders Highway at Merghiny between 4pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday, January 11.
