Lincoln Knights 6 defeated SEKOL Masters 2
Lincoln Knights and SEKOL Masters shared possession and territory in the first 15 minutes with neither team really threatening to score in their Port Lincoln Soccer Association match on Saturday.
That was about to change with Sheldon having Price save low to his left. Soon to follow was Lydeamore controlling the ball on a string at the edge of the box before placing his left foot shot into the top right-hand corner.

More followed for SEKOL with Naish Parthenis breaking at speed down the left and cutting the ball across for Lydeamore to tap in and have a two-nil lead.
A well-timed tackle by Jhajj on Lydeamore soon after prevented a hattrick from the young striker. SEKOL Masters was doing a very good job of spoiling the Knights party with fifteen minutes of domination.
At the thirty-minute mark momentum changed, with Ethan Franklin just starting to cause concerns down the left.
A corner not fully cleared came to Frears, who despite being pressured hit a volley driven into the top far post for a goal.
A blunder between Johnis Parthenis and Parsons from a high ball in the swirling blustery conditions saw the ball coming back out of the crossbar.
Harders and Hagaria were now causing difficulties of their own for the SEKOL defence. However, they were both too selfless and missed an opportunity to draw level, with the action ending with an Aburto pile driver going over the crossbar.
The 2 goals to 1 lead at half time for SEKOL Masters was time for both teams to take stock and reset. Knights reset was very quick.
Three minutes into the second half and Ramoni's powerful shot hitting the crossbar and a resulting goal mouth skirmish resulting in a corner, which Vivian got on the end of to earn the equalizer.
Though the rain had stopped the goals didn't.
A free kick taken by Jhajj to the far post was helped on its way with a glancing header from Ramoni. Paradiso for SEKOL broke speedily down the left but Aburto's sliding challenge put an end to a rare attacking opportunity for SEKOL Masters.
However, SEKOL kept on coming and a Naish Parthenis run and cross was well dealt with by Price who then showed his craft with clean ball handling in a further two efforts from SEKOL.
Harders was substituted back on and with his typical energy had a ball cut back from the right to have Ditrich finish clinically with a chipped shot high into the roof of the net for a two-goal advantage.
Again, Parthenis with his willingness to run had a half chance with the ball skidding across and away from him but couldn't quite control the left foot shot as it went just over the crossbar.
Frantic end to end play followed had both midfields unable to get up and back the pitch and the play became stretched.
SEKOL had two further opportunities with Skoljarev setting up Lydeamore whose shot was high and soon after Kolega's right foot shot went wide of the far post.
Knights responded with an interchange between Harders, Ramoni and Hagaria whose shot was turned around the post for a corner by Parthenis. The ensuing corner from Ramoni saw Aburto rise high to header the ball down for Knights fifth goal. Soon after Hagaria shot low and true for number six.
Proceedings ended with passing between Sheldon, Fagan and Kolega who ended shooting high.

Perhaps this was the tale of this entertaining match, were Knights finished off their impressive team play, SEKOL couldn't quite find the target.
It was a fitting result to secure the league title for Lincoln Knights along with the farewell match for both Ramoni and Hagaria.
